In this part of the planet, a great biodiversity of marine species grows and an important amount of seaweeds develops along the prairies. The main sources of biomass of these seaweeds meadows are located in the south of the country, starting in the region of Ica.
Algaex operates in two factories located in the region of Ica, with a logistic chain along the Peruvian coast, with which it supplies the main plants in the world to produce biopolymers from high quality Peruvian seaweeds.
